Where did it all start?

In 2014 our client supplied its byer drilling equipment. Because of misuse the pump of the construction was broken down. Then our client provided the byer another pump while the previous one was being repaired.

Till something went wrong?

When the repair was over the byer didn’t return the substituting equipment. Claim processing didn’t have proper result: the byer not only refused to return the pump, but also brought an action of damages against our client because of out-of-work drilling equipment.

What happened then?

After the supplier filed a lawsuit to Moscow Arbitration Court the byer offered to conduct negotiations. As a result both parties decided to sign a settlement agreement. Besides they came to refusal from present or probable complaints.


Conclusion

Settlement agreement afforded not only to return the supplier's property in a shorter period of time but also to prevent future disputes between the parties. That’s why we consider it to be a victory for our client!
